Robert Brayton, is the son of a professional photographer. He worked with his father in lighting, camera (small, medium, and view camera formats), and in the darkroom hand-printing black and white and color prints and transparencies. This has given him a unique perspective on lighting, color, and camera not usually available to most filmmakers. Robert is a veteran television producer formerly with the City of Tampa, Florida cable access studios. Here he received extensive technical and artistic training in camera, lighting, floor director, audio director, technical director, editor, and producer apprenticeships in the city's fully equipped broadcast studios. He worked-on and produced hundreds of shows for broadcast, including several season series. He was much sought after by other producers for his technical and artistic talents and professionalism for studio and location productions. He has also produced independent and freelance work, and is currently working on several short films. He is teaching Christian filmmaking in the 2007 Tomball Classes for Homeschoolers. He has taught various subjects in homeschool coops including sound reinforcement and recording, guitar, recorder, computer programming, woodworking, and video production, and is currently an Aerospace Education Officer with the Civil Air Patrol cadet program. He owns Heirloom Family Memories www.goheirloom.com, a video production company in the Houston area. Robert attended Purdue University, LeTourneau University, SAICFA, and was previously involved with Toastmaster's International, and Mensa. He is a moderator for the ReachingTheGlobe Christian filmmakers forum. He is a graduate of the Vision Forum 2006 and 2007 San Antonio Independent Christian Filmmakers Academy. This intense three day course included topics covering the entire range of subjects pertaining to Christ filmmaking. His goal is to work with Christians to produce blockbuster independent Christian films.
